Free People Integrates Instagram to product pages


I'm always looking out for innovative ideas in digital marketing and ecommerce and this definitely floats my boat as both a customer and an ecommerce professional. Free People, has started integrating consumers’ Instagram photos onto its product pages by assigning individual hashtags to a selection of products. 
Their customers are being encouraged to upload pictures to Twitter or Instagram with the product hashtag. The images are then sent for moderator approval and then uploaded to the product pages as rich UGC.

Free People are also sending out leaflets with the orders to remind customers to tweet their photos with the necessary hashtags.
