Get kidnapped by adidas

If you happen to be in an adidas shop in France in the next couple of weeks, you might get kidnapped. It's part of a very creative campaign for the new ClimaCool running shoes.
Check this promo video out where a guy goes into the shop in Marseille to try on a pair of ClimaCool trainers. He gets chosen to be kidnapped by Teddy Riner's henchmen to carry out a mission which involves running through the city full of obstacles and challenges. Teddy, a judo champion, guides the customer through a headset. His mission: to take pizzas to a famous rapper called Soprano to watch a game of football with the star. After going through a few challenges, the customer is dropped by parachute from a helicopter above Soprano's villa with pizzas.
ClimaCool Mission accomplished.

Julio Bashmore - in you I trust

Yay! Julio Bashmore (one of my favourite DJs) has his own regular show on BBC radio 1. The first installment of the all-new In New DJs We Trust show which featured the full line up of brand new DJs aired last Thursday. Along with Julio Bashmore, the 'new' DJs being trusted in are B-Traits, Mosca and Jordan Suckley.

Fiat 500 by Gucci

The classic Fiat 500, originally launched in 1957 has been given a glamorous makeover by Gucci’s Creative Director Frida Giannini. Not surprisingly, the car has Gucci's signature detailing with red-green web down the side and, of course, “Guccissima” leather print on the seats.

This promo video has been directed by Chris Sweeney who has achieved wide acclaim directing music videos for Will Young, Foals, Paloma Faith and Marina and the Diamonds.

adidas Olympics - Take the stage campaign

With the Olympic games only a few months away, adidas (the official sportswear sponsor) has launched it's new ad featuring athletes, music artists, and not to mention presenter Keith Lemon.

Plus fr-fr-fresh lyrics by Wretch 32:

This city is the stage where greatness is made. You can go from the top deck straight to the top of the charts. A high street honey can become the height of fashion. YouTube sensations turn into primetime stars. Even a hoop hustler can get a million fans. Wherever we go, the paps are never far behind and whatever we do, we’ll have an audience. This is the stage where greatness is made...
...and you’re up next.
