pac man

I'm going crazy for backpacks at the moment! Not only do they look good, they hold so much as well.

Clockwise from top left: alexander wang £715, asos £50, zara £22.99, asos £45, pierre hardy £1145 (currently sold out), jansport £30, adidas by stella mccartney £90, peter jensen £108

nike+ fuelband

Credit where it's due, the nike+ fuelband looks amazing. Not only is the product great but, as usual, nike has created some great rich content around it. I particularly like the way they have integrated sport and style together for this product too. Something adidas started doing with the launch of the 'all in' campaign in March 2011.

It's only available in the US (and sold out at the moment) but it won't be long until it hits Europe.

Street sculptures

Grapes

Green grapes cause more accidents on the Tube than banana skins.

Book table

The designer of the 'Book Table', Lisa Finster, describes it as "a functional memory capsule". I describe it as "I. need. to. have. it"

magnetic pull

I'm loving these new nails inc magnetic polishes.

"How does nails inc Magnetic Polish work?
This unique formula has been specially developed with metallic particles to create a pattern on the nail using magnetic forces. As the magnet is held over the nail, the iron powder in the formulation gravitates toward the magnet forming the pattern/design secretly hidden in the magnet for an astonishing finish!"
My favourite shade is Trafalgar Square (pictured above). Everywhere seems to be sold out but you can enter your email address at feelunique.com to be notified when they're back in stock.

Inspiration

Last year I went to a Google conference where a guy called Ed Stafford was a guest speaker. As part of the gifts all attendees got was his book - Walking The Amazon which I started reading on my recent vaycay.
It's an amazing book by a truly inspirational guy.

"All I needed to do was give my brain positive stimulus and the expedition was easy. All my problems now came from an isolated, bored, stagnant brain. A lazy, bored brain latches on to negativity and problems and exaggerates them until they become out of perspective and all-consuming. That happened to me a lot if I didn't actively make the effort to keep myself positive." Ed Stafford, Walking The Amazon.

are you a GLADIATOOOOORRRRRR?

My friend wore this t-shirt to the pub. My favourite was Jet... who is now a psychotherapist?!

Travel bug

The cold weather sucks. Thanks Kien Lam for taking me to beautiful spots again...
